"The Art Of Being Yourself"
The Way to a Wonderful Life Message for January 1, 2017
move into this new year may we all remind ourselves that it has been
our faith in both G-d and our highest self that has brought us to
this day with hope in our heart and an expectation that those
greater things still shall be made manifest in our experience in the
right and perfect time and in the right and perfect way.
Whatever good desires we hold in our heart are ours to accept and
receive for ourselves. Whatever good we desire to do for
others, we can know that a way will be made for us to do those
things. As we condition our mind to accept that we are of the
nature of G-d; Spirit, Power and Intelligence, we can realize that
Love points the way and the immutable Law of Spirit makes the way
begin to enjoy every day of this new year. Our yesterdays are
gone and along with them whatever of good or bad that we experienced
in them. Let us involve ourselves in enjoying This Thing
Called Life with enthusiasm and purpose. Let our purpose be to
experience the joy of an enlightened mind, an understanding mind, a
forgiving mind and a creative mind. Like Solomon in the Holy
Bible who was known for his wisdom, his wealth and his lust for
Life, let us enjoy all that Life provides for us: "A
feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry; but money
answereth all things." - Ecclesiastes 10:19:19 (Solomon
is considered the author)
We can stir up the
spirit within us and enliven the wisdom inherent within by a greater
realization of the truth of these words: "So
never worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about
itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ...
these words are attributed to the Master Mind Jesus in
the Gospel of Matthew 6:34. This wisdom is repeated in these words
from Paramahansa Yogananda, "Forget
the past, for it is gone from your domain! Forget the future, for it
is beyond your reach! Control the present! Live supremely well now!
It will whitewash the dark past, and compel the future to be bright!
This is the way of the wise."
And from the Talmud we can read, "A
person who has today's bread in his basket and is worried, 'What
will I eat tomorrow?'—is a man of little faith," declared
Rabbi Eliezer. The Lord stands behind our own endeavors, and as He
provides for the raven in the field, He provides for man also. In
the words of the rabbis: "He who created each day provides for
the needs thereof."
I have dwelled
often on these words of wisdom from the noted philosopher, William
world we see that seems so insane is the result of a belief system
that is not working. To perceive the world differently, we
must be willing to change our belief system, let the past slip away,
expand our sense of now, and dissolve the fear in our minds.”
We must learn to
condition our mind to "accept our good" whatever it may
be. No one, no matter how much they may love us can do this
for us. This we must do with persistence. Consider these
words from one of the great teachers of the Law of Mind, Dr. Frank
E. Richelieu, from his book "The Art Of Being
to yourself: "There is nothing within me that denies my
good. There is nothing within me that denies my prosperity.
There is nothing within me that denies me the right job. There
is nothing within me that denies me love and companionship.
There is nothing within me but the wonderful realization of my
oneness with Infinite Intelligence, the source of all supply of
every kind and description." What is inside of us is what
counts, not what appears on the outside to be causing us unhappiness
or problems. Because our nature seems to get us off track now
and then, we must constantly be aware that the universe is on our
side. There is nothing in the whole universe against us.
We are one with it. ... Say: "I affirm my oneness with
life today. Turning my attention away from problems, I keep in
alignment with my Source, from which my every need is met."
And finally from
the ancient wisdom, James 1:6 ... "But
let them ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a
wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind."
disturbs the mind of those with an undeveloped consciousness ...
your consciousness is alive to the good and alive to faith in the
Spirit which is G-d ... and that's the truth of You that will
guarantee You a Happy 2017!
And so it is!
