The Way to a Wonderful Life Message for January 31, 2016

In this age of 24-hour cable television news, smart phones, iPads, tablets etc, there is little wonder that some people have time to think at all let alone question what they are listening to.  You see a great deal of evidence of this on CNN, MSNBC and FOX news channels because most of what they broadcast is "opinion" not news.  Unless of course we stretch the definition of news to include opinions.  But the issue that arises with this is that most of the "opinions" are from people who are biased in their thinking and have given little time to question the results of their thoughts.  As anyone who has watched the debates between the candidates seeking the nomination of their particular parties for President, it is clearly obvious that most of those debating have never truly given any deep thought to what they believe and why they say the things they say.  If they did, they would be more consistent and firm in their positions.  Most appear to have little conviction in their statements.

The scientific genius Albert Einstein had this to say about questions:  "If I had an hour to solve a problem and my life depended on the solution, I would spend the first 55 minutes determining the proper question to ask for once I know the proper question, I could solve the problem in less than five minutes."

Einstein tells us to never stop questioning and this instruction is no different than the Master Mind Jesus' instruction "seek and ye shall find" for the Infinite Spirit/Intelligence has ordered the universe in such a way as to be responsive in filling the void in all things.  Therefore for every question there is an answer.  But, as the great Einstein tells us, we must determine the "proper question."

It takes thought and contemplation to determine the proper question.  And the question must be in the form that causes the response to be a definite answer or solution.  The spiritual teachings of metaphysics has given many of us the knowledge of the Law of Attraction and the Law of Correspondence but the value of these immutable, changeless Laws escapes so many of those who have become aware of them.  I have had so many people tell me that they know they are responsible for their lack of money, lack of success, lack of health and their lack of enthusiasm for life.  This is only a partial truth.  Actually it is such a small fragment of truth that we could make the comparison as the Maser Mind Jesus did to a grain of mustard seed in regards to faith.  To believe this is to believe that our human nature is our dominant nature but this is not true.  We are of the nature of our Creator; Intelligence, Power, Spirit.  It is not our true self that attracts to us poverty, indebtedness, illness, unhappiness or seeming failures.  If these conditions are what we are "living through" it is because we have allowed ourselves to believe that our human nature is our dominant nature and therefore we have lost touch with the truth about us.  We have created an "illusion of separation" where there is none.

In these words from Albert Einstein we find why most people do not realize the solutions, ideas or answers that they need to experience the greater thing that desire or dream about:  "It's not that I'm so smart.  But I stay with the questions much longer."  And this is why so many of us fail to find solutions, we stop with the questions and fall back onto the problems in our thoughts.  Einstein tells us, "Never lose a holy curiosity."  Curiosity must be aroused within us and we all can do it.  We just must want to know why we believe what we believe.  Not why we attract struggles in our life.  Not why we let in illness and dis-ease.  We must have a curiosity that is on fire with the desire to obtain the answers to our questions and we must be willing to be so persistent in staying with the questions that nothing or no one can convince us to give up.

The proper questions with a foundation of "what is it that I love ... " can open up an awareness of mind that may surprise and excite each and every one of us.

Keep the faith!
