RevBates.tv Global - Weekly Message To The Masses for February 3, 2008

“We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by the love we're not extending in the present.” - Marianne Williamson

One of the most insightful Principles ever given to us was by the Master Mind Jesus.  His instruction, which came from deep within His consciousness was, "Judge not, that ye be not judged."  This is one of the most powerful spiritual principles we can practice that will bring us into a greater influence of Divine Power than almost anything else we can do in the physical world.  Sadly, we have all learned to do the opposite of this and in doing so we have diminished ourselves.  Completing the instruction, Jesus explained, "For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again."

In the Science of Mind we learn, "not to judge by appearances."  And to evolve this statement to our contemporary understanding, it is imperative that we do not think or act from assumptions and personal perceptions.  Instead, we bring the thought back into our mind and ask ourselves what belief is within our consciousness that makes the assumption or perception.  Knowing that the appearance is a "mirror" of a belief that we are holding in consciousness, we can then consciously deny the assumption or perception that is not in alignment with the Truth, and replace it with the Truth that God Is All In All.  All that we see is Perfection in Its differentiations of experience.  And as we know this consistently, we will loose the impulse within us to assume, to foster perceptions and most importantly, to make judgments.

All of this leads us to the possibility of expanding our capacity to love and be loved.  Imagine what would happen if we judged every person we meet and every person we know as a Perfect Expression of Infinite Spirit.  Oh, yes, I know sometimes this may "appear" to be challenging ... until we understand how it is so.  First of all, let us consider what it is that we are judging.  When we entertain judgments, assumptions, or perceptions based on what we see, hear, taste or touch ... we are always looking at effects, never at the Spirit of the person or the thing.  Our judgments, assumptions and perceptions are based on the "illusion" created by the collective consciousness.  In other words, we are judging the "appearance."

If someone were to give me a Giorgio Armani suit that was soiled and wrinkled with the "Armani" tag missing ... guess what my judgment would be if I did not look past the appearance.  But, if they were to give me the same Giorgio Armani suit with the "Armani" tag intact and cleaned and pressed ... guess what my judgment would be?  It would be the same beautiful, high-quality, designer suit either way.  But if I judged by the first appearance, I may discard it as something less valuable than it actually is.  This happens with people as well.  We may meet someone when they are struggling with an illness or dealing with a seemingly serious financial loss, and judge according to the appearance ... but the spirit of this person is not attached to the illness or the financial loss.  Effects change.  That is, everything but the Perfection Within changes as this Perfection Within is God, Infinite Spirit, and it is not affected by the changing effects of conditions and circumstances.

Realizing that All Is Mind and All Is God, we know that judgments, assumptions and perceptions, are always formed in mind.  And it is in the mind of those of us who make judgments, assumptions and perceptions ... especially when we dwell on these things or allow ourselves to create patterns of thought in our mind that are filled with these things ... that is separated, in mind, from Omnipresent Good.  Our mind cannot be filled with judgment, either negative or positive, and be aligned with the All-Good.  As Dr. Murphy has stated over and over in his work, "nothing is good or bad, only thinking makes it so."  The Master Mind Jesus further explained, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them:  for this is the law and the prophets."  In other words, the Law of Cause and Effect, will bring these things into our future experience at some point in time.

“We are not held back by the love we didn't receive in the past, but by the love we're not extending in the present," writes Marianne Williamson.  When we think or act on negative judgments, assumptions or perceptions, we are withholding our love.  When we love some people but not ALL people, we are attempting in our mind, to see God in fragments, and this can never be the Truth.  God Is Love and therefore Love Is Omnipresent and Omnipotent ... and all that we are Is God ... therefore, Love is Omnipresent and Omnipotent within us.  This is the Truth of us.  And we have the capacity within us, to Love everybody ... and to adore some!

AND SO IT IS!

Keep the faith!
