unfolding of Spring and the observance of Good Friday and Easter give
us the opportunity to give greater thought to our relationship to G-d,
Infinite Spirit. Spring gives us evidence of renewal, growth and
the expectation of new-ness and change. Good Friday reminds us
that death of the physical is a reality for all living things and even
the healthiest among us know that death will find us someday.
And then Easter follows with the "resurrection and the life"
and so we realize that death is not fatal but a transitioning of our
life in physical form back to the spirit which is our true
nature. I am certain most of you have heard or read something
similar to this, perhaps even many times. But as we elevate our
human-consciousness to divine-consciousness, death becomes the
realization of a "new beginning" rather than an
ending. And perhaps there are those still uncertain that the
Master Mind Jesus was man-becoming-God but his transcendence in Spirit
and his highly developed consciousness that gave him the ability to
not only speak from the Great Beyond but to allow himself to be made
visible was not unique to him but that "greater thing still shall
you do" that he tried his best to get those still living in a
flat-earth-human-consciousness to understand.
The truth of life
after death did not originate with the authors of the New Testament of
the Holy Bible. In the Book of Job we can read: Job 19:26 And
though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I
I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another;
though my reins be consumed within me."
And in Psalm 16:10 For
thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine
Holy One to see corruption.
wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at
thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." This
truth entered human consciousness even though there were few who could
accept it at the time it was revealed. And the
human-consciousness that continues to believe in a heaven and a hell
as a destination still has not gained the awareness of this powerful
Master Mind Jesus gave us the the absolute truth when he said, "I
am the resurrection and the life." And this eternal,
infinite "I am" is G-d Spirit,
Power and Intelligence within mankind and he knew it for he dwelled in
God-consciousness until he had the supreme realization of the
Truth. "Don't ye know that ye are
gods?" he said with a sense of frustration at the
inability of those around him to know what he knew so
absolutely. These were not words of a ranting mystic or
revolutionary but the words spoken from the highest level of Truth
known to mankind. These were words that defied most of what the
religious were teaching in his time and most of what is taught by the
religions that identifies him as their savior still today. And
what did he mean "ye are gods"
but that we are of the nature of the One; Eternal Spirit, Life and
The enlightened mind of Christian
D. Larson revealed the intelligent response to the question of life
after death: "When
we ask "If a man die, shall he live again?" we prove to
those who understand that we are still living in the person, and that
we still think of ourselves as being persons. The person passes away,
and therefore so long as we think that we are persons we think that we
shall also pass away; but we are not certain whether we shall pass
into nothingness or into another life; we do not know because we are
not awakened into that consciousness of eternal life that does know.
We doubt no more, however, when we discover
the real life of the soul, and find that we are not persons but
spiritual entities. If you wish to convince yourself that you are to
live after you have removed the physical body, do not seek after
mysterious signs in the without; seek rather the real life in the
The more deeply
you enter into real life the more fully you realize that there is no
end to your own life. The outer consciousness informs you that you
have life; the inner consciousness informs you that there is no end to
your life, and the one is as convincing to the mind as the other."
believe that each of us have the ability to touch that part of our
soul that knows in truth we are spirit having a human experience and
that this is but one incarnation of our spirit-life that shall live
throughout eternity. This is an eternal truth that we must
re-claim even though our human-consciousness may find a myriad of ways
in which to deny that it is so. To accept the reality that there
is only One Life and that Life is G-d expressing through us as birth
and death and resurrection does not deny our human experience which is
a gift but allows us to transcend all the morbidity that the world has
assigned to death. The Spirit co-mingles our mind with the truth
known at the level of our soul and
that is why the primitive man of the Old Testament and The Torah and
the ever-evolving enlightened souls of the New Testament have been an
inlet and an outlet for Spirit-Intelligence to reveal the truth to
mankind throughout the ages. There is only one Truth just as
there is only One Mind, One Intelligence, One Spirit, One Power ...
The One ... through you and me and everyone. This is why we can
believe in the eternality, the immortality and the continuity of the
individual soul, forever and ever expanding.
SO IT IS!
