RevBates.tv Global - Weekly Message To The Masses for April 11, 2010

I identify myself with abundance; I surrender all fear and doubt.  I let go of all uncertainty.  I know there is no confusion, no lack of confidence.  The Presence of God is with me.  The Mind of God is my mind.  The Freedom of God is my freedom.  The Power of God is my power.  The Abundance of God fills my every good desire right now.   - Ernest Holmes, The Science Of Mind

We can realize a true identity with abundance as we follow the spiritual practices inherent in the science of mind and the teachings of the Master Mind Jesus.  And, in stating this, I am not saying that we should follow a religion, because neither the teachings of the science of mind or the teachings of Jesus are to further religion, but instead to reveal to us a philosophy of life that will provide for us a greater mental acceptance of the good that is available to us.  Both inspire us to become spiritual seekers, willing to explore how we think and to discover how our thoughts create the beliefs that lead us on a journey of self-realization unlike any religion that I am aware of.

It is written that in his conversation with Pontius Pilate, Jesus told him; "For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth ..." and Pilate said to him, "What is truth?"  In the Science of Mind, Dr. Holmes writes that "truth known is truth demonstrated."  And for this reason, Dr. Holmes said he believed that the healing work and other seeming miracles demonstrated by Jesus, were actual and true.  We can arrive at the same conclusion as Dr. Holmes when we begin to become conscious of similar demonstrations of a spiritual truth in our own lives.  But, we will only have a knowledge of spiritual truth and perhaps a belief in the possibility of it, until we begin to seek to demonstrate something in our own lives that is beyond what we have experienced before and beyond what we once thought was possible.

From Ernest Holmes' affirmation we find the way to opening our mind to more of the truth of the abundance that is available to each of us.  He clearly states that we are to surrender all fear and doubt, to let go of uncertainty, and affirm that we are confident of our personal relationship with G-d.  As we do these things, our mind is open and receptive to the Mind of G-d, we then are free to choose that which we seek to experience in our life.  By letting go of doubt, we affirm that our power is G-d's Power personalized to us.  We realize from both the science of mind and the teachings of the radical Jesus, that we can depend on and trust that G-d is right where we are, always Present.  In other words, "there is no spot, where G-d is not!"

We prove our faith in G-d, by proving that we can reveal the good in all things that concern us.   And we can only truly accomplish this by having faith in our self, for G-d can only do for us, what G-d can do through us.  This never changes.  We gain this faith in our self by asking the simple question that Pontius Pilate asked of Jesus:  "What is truth?"  Not what is someone else's truth, but what is truth for us.  And we can personalize this question to:  "What is the truth for me?"  This question may lead us to a religion, but it may also lead us out of one.  Keep in mind that Buddha wasn't a Buddhist and Jesus wasn't a Christian ... both had an all-consuming desire to discover more and more of the truth, knowing that truth is as infinite as the G-d it seeks to embody.  Religion causes us to "freeze-frame truth" according to someone else's definition of truth.  But the truth will set us free ... too free to allow religion to contain our hunger and thirst for more of it.  Yet, religion is often a catalyst to further spiritual exploration and discovery ... and so are the seeming challenges we encounter in life.

From Dr. Frank Richelieu (The Art Of Being Yourself):
"In order for us to expand our capacity in any direction - mentally, physically, socially, economically - we need to connect with the spiritual nature of our being.  We must know that we stem from Reality, the Truth, the All That Is.  This knowing opens the channels through which divine inspiration flows into our stream of consciousness.  When we try to make it alone, whatever we accomplish is not lasting.  When we relate to the Source, we are tied in with an infinite power and become powerful instruments for higher expression."

AND SO IT IS!

Keep the faith!
