"... any anxious thought as to the means to be employed in the accomplishment of our purposes is seen to be quite unnecessary.  If the end is already secured, then it follows that all the steps leading to it are secured also.  The means will pass into the smaller circle of our conscious activities day by day in due order, and then we have to work upon them, not with fear, doubt, or feverish excitement, but calmly and joyously, because we know that the end is already secured, and that our reasonable use of such means as present themselves in the desired direction is only one portion of a much larger coordinated movement, the final result of which admits of no doubt." - Thomas Troward, The Edinburgh and Dore Lectures On Mental Science

The time must come when we realize that our ability to think, to analyze, to imagine, to contemplate that which is not yet visible, is the "Light" or "Intelligence of G-d" within us.  This is imperative for us to pray effectively.  It is the truth that causes us to realize the good results we desire without doubting and anxiety, to know that we are always working within the realm of spiritual law.  We have an infinite capacity to do all these things in our mind and the more we make use of our mind to do these things, the more we shall find ourselves in tune with the Infinite.

We have arrived at that point in our spiritual evolution that we know that the only G-d that exists is the Intelligence, the Spirit and the Power that rules the universe in which we live.  And we have come to realize, as the Master Mind Jesus did, that there is no superstition in this Intelligence, but a universal response to our every strongly held "belief" that It corresponds to automatically.  As Jesus stated: "God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”  And in this we understand that we must be willing to "un-learn" so much of what the world has taught us about our relationship to this Power and this Intelligence which is the Spirit working for us, through us.

"We must come to believe that the Father does dwell within us, and that this creative Spirit which is back of all things also flows through us.  God has need of us or He would not have put us here.  The Divine wishes to express through us or we would have no existence.  As a matter of fact, we really have no existence of ourselves alone.  It is only because we live in God that we live at all.  If we think of ourselves as rooted in God, and expect Divine Power to flow through us, every thought we have and our every act will be animated by the same life and power and beauty that clothes the lily of the field.  As Jesus pointed out, we would be but following the law of our own lives." - Ernest Holmes, The Philosophy of Jesus

It is the "Intelligence" of G-d that Jesus spoke to in his teachings to those who had little awareness or knowledge of the universe in which they lived.  And in this we realize that the Spirit moved through His mind to reveal that which He could not have been taught by anyone in the world.  It is this "other worldly" vision and truth
of our relationship with G-d and the universal Intelligence in which we live, that frustrated the religious followers of His time and confused even His most devoted followers.  This is the same frustration that modern day "literalists" experience when they are confronted with reason and a more intelligent understanding of that which they have perceived to be written about in the Bible, the Torah and other ancient wisdom teachings.  Yet, they do not understand that this more enlightened understanding is exactly what Jesus, Isaiah and many other mystics were seeking to reveal to the world and if not for their willingness to "speak up and stand up" for a Higher Truth than was revealed before them, our religions would continue to be consumed with superstitions and duality.

"Jesus entered again into the synagogue, and there was a man there whose ha
nd was withered.  And they watched him to see if he would heal him on the Sabbath, that they might accuse him.  And he said to the man whose hand was withered, Stand up in the center.  Then he said to them also, Is it lawful to do good or evil on the Sabbath, to save a life or to destroy it?  But they were silent.  And he looked at them with anger, sad because of the hardness of their hearts; and he said to the man, Stretch out your hand, and he stretched it out; and his hand was restored." - St. Mark 1-5, Holy Bible From The Ancient Eastern Text, George M. Lamsa's Translation From The Aramaic Of The Peshitta

In this healing work and words of the Master Mind Jesus, He fully demonstrates that it is Intelligence that is the Highest Law of G-d, not the laws of religion or the laws of the worldly.  Does the sun stop shining on the Sabbath?  Does gravity cease to work on the Sabbath?  Does it never rain on the Sabbath?  It is in questioning what we believe that replaces those beliefs that no longer serve us or benefit us, that we can arrive at the intelligent conclusions that will heal, prosper and bless us with the Truth.  Intelligence, Jesus was attempting to teach, is the only G-d that we can depend on.  And in this Intelligence, is Power and Spirit that works in alignment with the highest level of intelligence that we can believe in when we pray, meditate, or contemplate that which we desire to do, to be, or to have.

Thomas Troward writes:  "By establishing, then, a personal relation to the life of the Spirit, the sphere of the individual becomes enlarged.  The reason is that we allow a greater intelligence than our own to take the initiative; and since we know that this Intelligence is also the very Principle of Life itself, we cannot have any fear that it will act in any way that diminishes our individual life, for that would be to stultify its own operation - it would be self-destructive action which is a contradiction in terms of the conception of Creative Spirit.  Knowing, then, that by its inherent nature this Intelligence can only work to the expansion of the individual life, we can rest upon it with the utmost confidence and trust it to take the initiative which will lead to far greater results than any we could forecast from the standpoint of our own knowledge."

As we continue to let the Spirit move through our mind, our heart and our soul, and not limit G-d Intelligence in any way or in any form, we shall find that the light of faith within us ... shall shine a blessing upon us and all that which we love.

AND SO IT IS!

Keep the faith!
