weekly message is the final in a series of spiritual prosperity messages
that have been posted here and broadcast on the radio throughout the
month of August, 2012. Spiritual prosperity which can take the
form of any good thing desired, including money, can be experienced by
everyone for the Law of the Spirit is just as spontaneous and automatic
as the law of gravity and other natural laws of the universe. The
Law of the Spirit is activated through faith, belief and conviction.
Conviction can only come when we have made a decision to experience
something definite and specific; this could be to have, to do or to be.
The Law of the Spirit responds by corresponding ... and this is the
truth. And so it is up to us to get into the spirit of the thing
desired and begin the process within our own mind of gaining a
conviction that we have it ... "pray knowing that you have"
the Master Mind Jesus said. And this is the way the Law of G-d
works, by working through our faith and conviction.
"John 4:23 Yet
a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship
the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of
worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God
is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.”
Jesus' instruction from the Gospel of John, Holy Bible
does it mean to us to worship G-d in the Spirit and in truth? Can
it mean anything other than our believing that the spirit in which we
are receptive to the Spirit is the manner in which we shall receive or
not receive, the good that we desire? We must pray from the
good results of our prayers rather than to them; i.e. if we are praying
to be healed of a health issue, our prayer must be one of affirming that
we are healthy and grateful for being healthy. Even though the
appearance of the illness is still visible to us and is a
"fact" in the physical. The words in our prayer must
describe that which is in true in the Spirit, not the material.
And this is how we must pray for every good thing that we desire ... in
From Joel Goldsmith, Consciousness
Transformed [pg. 403]: "Secrecy
is a spiritual principle. Secrecy is an actual substance that
holds within itself your experience, so bury your experience in the
principle of secrecy and just let the fruitage appear outwardly.
"I" is consciousness. "I" is God.
Consciousness is "I". Consciousness is your real
identity and the consciousness that you are right now has your life,
your health, your success, your protection, your everything within you.
Nothing can be added to you because the "I" of you is God and
it is already the embodiment of infinity. ... Go and tell no man that
the "I" of you is God."
so we realize that this "I" is the "image-likeness"
of G-d within each and every one of us.
And so to have more or to be more or to do more in our life
experience, we must realize that within us is all the power, all the
spirit and all the intelligence we require.
We must just eliminate the layers of disbelief and negativity
that has made resident in our soul so that we may experience the better
or the greater.
And our only way to eliminate that which is in our mental
household, is to “release by replacing” … that is, to bring into
our mind through meditation, prayer and contemplation, only those
thoughts and images of our self and others, that we choose to experience
From Dr. Ernest Holmes and Dr. Fletcher Harding in their book,
“The Meaning Of The Bible” … “Jesus was
the first in history to tell us that there are great spiritual laws in
the universe, which, through faith, can operate in our affairs in such a
manner as to make every legitimate enterprise prosper and every life
His ministry included not only the healing of the physical body,
but the healing of unhappiness and fear, the healing of poverty and
want, and the healing of loneliness.
He taught the application of spiritual laws in human affairs.”
"I" is the
"image-likeness" of G-d in all that we perceive in our life
“I can’t afford that” or “I have enough money to share
and to spare” both bring us results based on our faith and feelings
about them. And both these attitudes create images of who we are
and what we have in our mind, which is the spirit within us. It is
by Divine design that we have license to aspire for more of every good
thing in our life. But, we must make the commitment within our own
heart and mind to have it and not allow ourselves to be distracted by
the noise and the nonsense that comes to us from the world or we will
lose sight of it. As we take into our mind that something that we
are committed to receiving and enjoying and establish it as the truth
for us, it will show up in our life.
Perhaps we want more money, so we say
"more and more money is mine, an ever-increasing amount of money is
mine" ... and then we open our mind to the Infinite and know that
we don't have to know where the money comes from, we just have to remain
"convinced" that it shall come. Perhaps at first we will
receive only a little money, but the amount will increase as our
strength of conviction is increased. If our mind begins to think
about where the money is going to come from, we direct it to the
Infinite Invisible and know that it shall come from both expected and
unexpected resources, but G-d, always, is the Source of our good.
Let's look at these words of Jesus again and take them to heart: "Prayer
Is Answered According To Belief – Jesus said, “When thou prayest,
enter into thy closet, and when thou has shut thy door, pray to
thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret
shall reward thee openly.” -
Gospel of Matthew 6:6, Holy Bible
If we are experiencing any feelings of
desperation, fear, or doubt about receiving the thing that we pray for,
we must "shut thy door" even tighter to the world and the ways
in which the world perceives money and the way in which we can receive
it. We must remind ourselves that our mind is limited and we are
not expecting our mind to answer our prayer, we are looking to the
Infinite which knows no limitations, is no respecter of persons, and is
not subject to circumstances and conditions, to provide for us that
which we "claim in consciousness" as ours to receive. Always
remember and never forget, G-d has gifted us with the license to aspire
for more ... more and more happiness ... more and more love ... more and
more money ... more and more of every good thing!
SO IT IS!
