"We arrive at truth, not by reason only, but
also by the heart." -
Pensees
(1670)
Seeking truth is a great adventure.
It is probably the greatest adventure we will ever experience. It
is an adventure that lasts a lifetime and perhaps more. We begin
this adventure by listening to our heart. We listen to our heart
to gain the awareness of what is truly important to us, to understand
what our treasure is. Not the treasure that can be counted but the
treasure that never rusts or decays.
"Where your heart is, there your treasure is also." To
fully understand this statement and to seek always to know where our
heart is moves us into a glorious experience of joy, love, peace and
harmony. We understand that the thing that we put our heart into
is our treasure. This is the treasure that God has prepared for
us. This is the treasure that is so much a part of us that even
though we may lose our job, our money, our health, and even our home, we
continue to feel that life is filled with joy, peace and love.
This is the harmonizing power that the Infinite brings to all things
that concern us. We are not moved by the temporary appearances.
We can get another job, a new home, more money and we can see our health
restored. None of these things cause us to lose our treasure.
They are not what we treasure, they are but the things we use while we
enjoy this experience called Life.
As we listen to our heart, we find what we treasure. We find the
thing that touches our soul so intimately that no person, place or
thing could ever be enough to replace it. We find the thing that
no amount of money could bargain away from us and the thing that no
thief could ever steal for he would never know where it is. This
treasure is the Thing Itself. It is our very own awareness of the
Love that God Is expressing as our Good at all times. It is the
assurance and the confidence that trusting God, and God alone brings
into our heart. This treasure will never break our heart, will
never leave us or deceive us and once fully realized by continually
listening to our heart, we shall never want anything else. And
this is the Truth that surpasses all understanding.
And
So It Is!

in Its own Good Way,
